This would have to be my favorite motel in Tenterfield, convenient walking distance to the butcher, Coles and gym.
The apartment style rooms are a cut above the rest with spa bath, kitchenette - very open plan and naturally well lit. This is a refreshing escape which helps bring you clarity, peace and quiet enjoyment.

Very clean motel with large rooms. The bathroom was dated, but quite functional and clean. Good location to walk to shops.

We recently stayed one night & should have stayed longer. We'd been travelling & needed a laundromat. Nigel put us into a neat & tidy & comfortable room with a washer & dryer, exactly what we needed. He then booked us into the restaurant for dinner. The dinner & service was excellent, Niki excelled in the quality of our meals. When next in Tenterfield we would have no hesitation in again staying at the Henry Parkes Motel and most certainly would recommend it to family and friends.

Very basic rooms 2 cups, toaster jug and microwave. No plates or cutlery. The showers are only just warm, which is not very inviting, you need a good hot shower after a day of driving. Cleanliness is about 8 out of 10.

The Henry Parks Motel was great for our overnight stop. The room was clean well equipped and much bigger than others we have stayed at. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. We'd certainly stay there again.

I stayed a single night while on a motorbike trip and will be back. Competitive room rate. Clean rooms, didn't notice much traffic noise, good fast wifi, very comfortable bed, best night's sleep I've had in ages! Great service from all the staff made it an enjoyable stopover.

Excellent place to stay in Tenterfield. Rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need for a great stay although a little dated.
The attached restaurant offers exceptional meals at great prices too.

We had a lovely stay. Clean comfortable room. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. On a cold evening it was warm and inviting with a fire providing a lovely area to relax in front of with a drink from the bar. Lovely hosts who were friendly and helpful. Really made you feel welcome. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely beautiful stay here. Staff so friendly and accommodating, price is very reasonable, lovely food at the homely restaurant, rooms were spotless and had all requirements. Loved sitting round the fire with a glass of red. Looking for to returning. Louisa

Had Nook & Co staff dinner tonight, Beautiful meal made with love and care, great service, warm fire, very chic 👌 but not with the price tag.

My friend and I arrived in Tenterfield late in the afternoon and we hadn’t booked and we wanted two separate rooms for two nights. The gentleman on the counter could not have been more helpful. He offered various options and we were both delighted with the rooms we were able to book. The beds were superb, it was quiet with no highway noise and it was like a home away from home. My room was steps away from the restaurant which offered the most delicious meals and wonderful service. It was bitterly cold outside but the fire in the restaurant was very welcome indeed. I was snug in my room with the air conditioning and was able to retrieve a beautiful woollen blanket from the cupboard for added warmth if needed in the night. Not needed at all as my doona was enough. Wonderful service, will stay again and will definitely be recommending.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this motel and need to offer a review to recommend it highly because of the clean, well appointed, well serviced and quiet rooms. More impressive was the friendly and welcoming staff who did a great job juggling to accommodate us. Restaurant was comfortable and service personal and warm with quality food. Good value. We will definitely return to this place!!

Not many parking places next to rooms. Restaurant lovely with wood fire & seats around. Friendly service. Good meals with Gf available.

Last minute decision to stay in Tenterfield, as wet, dark and foggy didn't want to do Mountain in those conditions. This motel was warm and cosy. Nice bed and plenty of room

Spent one night here. Very good accommodation and much appreciated by our Jack Russell terrier! Very clean room and very quiet location. Close to a reasonable Thai restaurant and shops.
Shame the restaurant wasn’t open at the time. Certainly recommend this motel.

A good size room, comfortable and well appointed. Value for money to upgrade from a queen to king room.

Our stay at this hotel was exceptional. The room was impeccably clean—you could immediately sense the freshness upon entering. The inclusion of a kitchenette was particularly convenient, allowing for added comfort and flexibility during our visit. The room is very spacious too. The environment was remarkably quiet and peaceful, providing a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Considering the affordability, the value far exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at this motel. We travel with a cat and a corgi dog and we had this amazing fenced in area for the dog to be outside if he wanted to be. Best we have ever come across! The room also was excellent. Absolutely nothing to complain about and the owner was friendly and helpful. Will certainly stay there again!

We were comfortable and were met with friendly helpful staff whenever we needed anything. The location was convenient to all the places we wanted to visit. I appreciated the sustainability of dispensing toiletries from bulk containers, rather than those little plastic bottles. In fact , the hand cream was particularly nice - what brand was it, please?

Frig is very small the smallest we have come across. Booking dot com said there was a microwave but there wasn't, manager brought one up.

Stayed one night at this motel. Requested a pet friendly room which was more than adequate for me and my old Staffy travelling companion. Comfy bed, fluffy towels. Road noise not a huge concern.

Here for work and was ,by chance upgraded to one of the large, spacious king rooms out the back, they were supburb , clean roomy, lounges, kitchenette large bathroom with spa, not that i used it and also a laundry. Been booking the same rooms ever since as they offer affordable prices during the working week (outside holidays) for the better rooms, for the regulars. Even the cheaper rooms are not bad, small, but still tidy. My number 1 in Tenterfield by far and staff are nice and accomadating . Highly recommenend

Stayed for one night with two of our children. Room was very clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Motel was handy to shops, eateries and coffee shops. Management/staff very friendly and accommodating. Easy parking.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, we got a family room for a Queen price.. Manager at reception looked after us and we were happy with an easy walk up the main st.
